Meet Miss Roneetha Gail Adams who loved God, her parents, family and others more than herself. With the Grace of God, Roneetha and I, her mom started a faith based non-profit organization in 2012 called "Glitter Production "which was later changed to ButterfliesNFlight! Roneetha loved giving, serving, singing, teaching and praising in dance. Roneetha was a choreographer in churches and in College.
She also tutored children in an afterschool program throughout the community as well as two at home students one is a junior in college and the other is a senior who has won presidential awards and about to graduate has made straight A's since the third grade. Roneetha was passionate about helping others. Roneetha loved working with special needs children that had learning disabilities.
Her love for dance transformed into her love of praise and worship. She was a gifted dance choregrapher, songstress and taught till the end of her life on earth.
Mrs Shirley a pageant director approach Roneetha because she saw her as a queen. She became Miss Carrollton, TX USA 2007, She began to soar and ran again as Miss Frisco 2012, she was Miss Black Dallas in 2013.
Roneetha was a juvenile diabetic at an early age 13. Despite her issues with the lost of one kidney never the. less she kept on thriving. Roneetha lost her good kidney because of having a heart attack. She received a pacemaker and a defibrillator at the age of 26.
She ran the organization with vigor. Training pageants queens and teens. Roneetha was fascinated and loved butterflies. As a matter of fact we called her our black butterfly.
Ro and I had many conversations about the struggle and fight all butterflies had to go through being a caterpillar. If they lived to enter their cocoon no one could help them out of the cocoon. We knew only God was to transformed them out the cocoons as we should today. Once they came out they were able soar beautifully in the air to their destination.
And we compared it to what she was going through with her illness. She kept pushing making it her priority to focus on loving God herself and the lives of loved ones in our homes and community.
Focusing on the love for God and His desires. Roneetha continue serving others as Jesus did, she truly enjoyed the gifts God had given her. She got her wings and went to Heaven April 11, 2016, at the age of 35. We will continue her legacy and her heart felt Love through maximizing “ButterfliesNFlight” Nonprofit Organization prayerfully forever.
